The wait for the 22nd installment of PM-Kisan is over? Find out when the money will arrive in 2026

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has come as a major relief to millions of small and marginal farmers across the country. Amidst rising farming costs and daily expenses, this scheme provides financial support to farmers throughout the year. 

With the beginning of the new year 2026, farmers are now eagerly awaiting the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. 

Every farmer wants to know when the next installment will arrive and what important things they need to keep in mind to receive the money.

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched in 2019. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually. 

This amount is transferred directly to farmers' bank accounts in three equal installments, i.e., ₹2,000 every four months. Its purpose is to provide assistance to farmers with fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, and other farming needs. 

So far, the government has released 21 installments to farmers. According to government data, more than 90 million farmers are benefiting from this scheme. 

Thousands of crores of rupees have been transferred directly to farmers' accounts through DBT, benefiting farmers without any intermediaries.

When can the 22nd installment come?

Currently, the biggest question is when the 22nd installment of PM Kisan will arrive. No official date has been announced by the government yet, but based on previous years' patterns, an installment is released every four months. Based on this, it is believed that the 22nd installment could be sent to farmers' accounts around February 2026.

What things should be kept in mind to get money

If you want your 22nd installment to reach your account without any interruptions, it's crucial to complete a few important tasks on time. 

Your bank account must be linked to Aadhaar and your e-KYC must be complete. Furthermore, your land records must be accurate and up-to-date. Failure to do any of these could result in a delay in your installment payment.

Many times, farmers don't receive their installments due to minor errors. Therefore, it's best to regularly check your details on the PM Kisan portal. 

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana continues to be a strong financial support for farmers. If the necessary formalities are completed, it's expected that the 22nd installment will reach your account on time.
